All New L&L Custom Homes will be backed by a 1 Year Home Warranty. During the first year, the Homeowner will contact L&L Custom Homes for any warranty issues. The building and performance standards for the components of a home subject to the 1 Year Home Warranty for workmanship and materials include exterior concrete, framing, drywall, insulation, exterior siding, trim, masonry, stucco, roofing , doors, windows and interior flooring.
A 2 Year Home Warranty for mechanical delivery systems such as electrical delivery systems, plumbing delivery systems, ventilation, heating and air conditioning system will also be provided.
The 10 Year Home Warranty strictly covers major structural components such as load-bearing portions of your home. These elements include footing and foundations, beams, headers, girders, lintels, columns, load-bearing walls, partitions, floor framing systems, ceiling framing, wood or metal structural floor systems and masonry arches.
It is recommended by the Builder that the Homeowner will purchase additional coverage through a third party warranty company. A third party warranty company may have abilities that will extend coverage through that company such as an additional two years for workmanship and materials and two more years of major delivery systems. Your home will be the largest investment you will make; a warranty will help insure value of the home.
